27-28 October 2016, Lisbon, Portugal
Portuguese Environment Agency will host a technical visit to Costa da Caparica, located south of Tagus estuary ebb delta, where the Port of Lisbon Authority has worked together closely with the Agency to devise a dredging plan that uses dredged sediments from maintenance dredging to successfully mitigate erosion problems on the beaches of Costa de Caparica.
To promote lively interaction on issues related to sustainable port development, attendees will be challenged to take pictures of sights and scenes that relate to the theme of the conference. A jury consisting of members of Young CEDA will identify the most appealing pictures of this Sustainable port photo contest and the stories behind. The winning prize will be ‘eternal fame’ – and some surprize.
