Abstracts – Academic/Scientific sessions
The conference will take place in September 2021, in either Belgium or the Netherlands
We invite abstracts for papers on academic and applied research, and innovative solutions, relating to any aspect of dredging and reclamation, for traditional or emerging markets, as well as dredged sediment use and management.
Abstracts (maximum 300 words) should be submitted online by 15 January 2021. Click here to go to the abstract submission page.
The Technical Papers Committee will assess the abstracts and invite successful authors to write a full paper. All draft manuscripts will undergo a peer-review for quality, correctness, originality and relevance. The Technical Papers Committee will select the best 8-12 papers for presentation in the academic/scientific section of the programme. All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings.
Final papers should be 4000-6000 words in length. They must be original and should not have been published, or offered for publication, elsewhere.
Presentations will be 20 minutes long, including 2 minutes for a brief discussion.
The best academic conference paper, by an author under 35 years of age, will win the International Association of Dredging Companies’ Young Authors Award. The winner will receive this award during the event. For details, please visit the conference website.
