Young CEDA Pitch Talks (oral presentation Pecha Kucha style)

27-29 May 2024, WTC Rotterdam, Rotterdam, the Netherlands

If you are a student or young professional (under 35 years of age) and would like to contribute to the programme, but feel more comfortable with a short presentation, the Young CEDA Pitch Talks option is the one for you. In less than 7 minutes you can present your ongoing work, expose your ideas to a broad audience and get immediate feedback and inspiration. No need to write an extended abstract or full paper after acceptance! All authors of accepted abstracts in this category will be offered the possibility to follow a training to increase your presentation skills free of charge. After all, there is an Award to win!

The Technical Papers Committee will assess the abstracts. Successful authors will be invited to submit their presentation materials (PowerPoint presentation), which will undergo a peer-review for quality, correctness and originality.

All topics related to dredging are welcome.

PRESENTATIONS

Contributions in this category will be presented in Pecha Kucha style; 20 slides for 20 seconds of commentary each.

AWARD

The best presentation by an author under 35 years of age, will win the International Association of Dredging Companies’ Young Authors Award. The winner will receive this award during the event.
